How does Glance work?

Press Ctrl+; on whatever's on your screen. Glance takes a screenshot, sends it to an AI model, and gives you an answer in 2–3 seconds. The answer is automatically copied to your clipboard. Paste anywhere.

Does Glance store my screenshots?

No. Screenshots are sent to the AI for processing and discarded. We don't keep them on our servers and we don't train models on them. The only thing we save is metadata — timestamp, response time, token usage — for billing and your usage stats.

What can it actually answer?

Math problems, code errors, definitions, multiple choice questions, foreign language text, charts, factual lookups. If it's on your screen and a person could answer it, Glance can probably answer it. If it's ambiguous or there's not enough context, it tells you instead of guessing.

What apps does it work with?

Anything on your screen. Glance doesn't integrate with specific apps — it reads whatever pixels are showing. So it works in your browser, in Word, in PDFs, in screenshots, in Zoom, in code editors. If you can see it, Glance can see it.

Mac support?

Coming soon. Windows is available now. Drop your email on the download page and we'll let you know when the Mac version ships.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Cancel from your account dashboard and you keep access until the end of your current billing period. No “talk to support” hoops.

What if Glance gives the wrong answer?

Sometimes it will. AI models still make mistakes, especially on handwritten math, low-resolution images, or questions with multiple valid interpretations. Always double-check anything that matters. Glance is a tool, not a substitute for thinking. We're not Anthropic. We're a tool that uses Anthropic's models. If something's broken, email us.

Why is there a daily limit?

AI calls cost real money. The daily limits let us offer a free tier without losing money, and they give paid users predictable pricing instead of surprise overage charges. Most people use Glance 10–30 times a day — well within the Pro tier.
